We, the European Association for Ductile Iron Pipe Systems (EADIPS) / Fachgemeinschaft Guss-Rohrsysteme (FGR) e.V., are a technical and scientific industry association. We are responsible for the competent, reliable and efficient representation of the interests of our members, the manufacturers of high-quality ductile cast iron pipe systems (pipes, valves, fittings) ‚Made in Europe‘, as well as their partners.
Our main tasks include:
- Public relations for ductile cast iron pipe systems
- highlighting their technical and economic advantages for installation in drinking water and waste water networks, for use in snow-making systems and for pipelines in hydroelectric power stations
- Promoting their use in design, installation and operation
- Participation in national, European and international standardisation bodies
- Representation and support of our member companies in economic, technical and professional matters,
As FGR e.V., formerly the German Foundry Association, we have been active since 1953. Since 2010, we have been known as EADIPS FGR e.V. to represent the interests of companies producing high-quality ductile cast iron pipe systems throughout Europe.
